1 cup breadcrumbs (seasoned Italian)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

2 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In a separate dish, beat the eggs.
- Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip it into the beaten eggs, and then press it into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
