Lemon Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/4 cup lemon juice

2 tbsp butter

1 lemon, thinly sliced

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Coat chicken breasts with the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until browned.
  6. Remove chicken from the skillet and transfer it to a baking dish.
  7. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Add chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  9. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  10. Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
  11. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
  12. Arrange lemon slices on top of the chicken.
  13. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  14. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
